Organic foundations-We take a sturdy, thick hard pine and cover it with our organic cotton fabric and our organically processed wool. Thiscreates an attractive foundation for all of our mattresses. Ours is a lot of sturdy wood instead of those thin slats most of our competitors use. Slats are 3.5" wide and are 2" apart. CHOOSE 3", 5" OR 8" depending on desired total height of mattress & foundation.
